Welcome to eSingapore Math! eSingapore Math (thereafter eSM) is owned and operated by iSingapore Math LLC (thereafter iSM). eSM and iSM are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. This Privacy Policy is meant to help you understand what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

This Privacy Policy describes our collection and use of personal information collected from you through eSM and eSM, the online and/or mobile services, websites, and software (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is provided on or in connection with (i) https://esingaporemath.com and https://isingaporemath.com (thereafter Websites) (ii) mobile applications associated with eSM or iSM and (iii) any other iSM website, app or online service, which links to this Privacy Policy. "You" or "your" means a visitor or a user (whether signed in or not) of our Service. Your use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of this Policy.

Information

Activity & Learning

During your learning and receiving Service we collect information that you submit to the Service such as answers to questions or surveys. In addition, during the process of registration or during the course of receiving the Service, we collect any information that you submit to the Service such as personal information, emails and other communications with our customer support and technical support teams.

Types of Accounts

The type of personal information we collect varies depending on your account type.

Individual Students and Parents

During the registration process for our Service we may collect personal information from a parent or guardian ("Parent") such as a name, e-mail address, payment information, username and password. We may also collect information about the student(s) authorized by the Parent to use the Service through the Parent's account, including a profile name for the child user and selection of a profile avatar. Children are not permitted to access the Service without the Parent first signing into the Parent account with the Parent's sign in credentials.

School and Teacher Accounts

Cookies

Our Websites and vendors automatically collect certain types of usage information when you visit https://esingaporemath.com and https://isingaporemath.com, and read our e-mails, use our Service or otherwise communicate with us. This information is typically collected through a variety of tracking technologies, including cookies and others. You may decline to accept cookies or reset your browser to refuse all cookies. However, some or all features of our Service may not function properly if your cookies are disabled. If you decline to accept cookies, then you may not be able to access and use all or part of the Service or benefit from the information and Service offered.

What we do with the information we gather

We use the information to provide, maintain and improve our Service, including communicating to schools, parents and students information and providing reports about student performance and use of the Service, responding to inquiries and providing customer support. We use the information for internal record keeping. We may also periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information, which we think you may find interesting using the email address, which you have provided.

How we share your information

We will not sell or rent your personal information to any entity or anyone. iSM and eSM may share or disclose your personal information as needed to provide our Service or with your consent. iSM and eSM may share information with third party service providers and individuals to provide services or products for us or on our behalf, which may include billing, hosting, marketing, targeted advertising, and others. When the subscriber signs up for these services, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are not permitted to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.

Student Data and Privacy

iSM and eSM

iSM and eSM will not knowingly retain Student Data beyond the time period required to support an educational purpose, unless authorized by a School or Parent. We may not be able to immediately or completely delete all data in all instances, such as information retained in technical support records, customer service records, backups, and other similar business records.

Schools and Teachers

The School and/or Teacher is responsible for maintaining current student rosters, classes and groups for students that are using the Service. The School and/or Teacher is responsible for identifying Student Data that the School and/or Teacher no longer needs for an educational purpose by removing students from the Service or by submitting a written deletion request via email.

Children’s Privacy

eSM doesn’t permit children under the age of 12 to create an account and does not knowingly collect personally identifying information from children under the age of 12 without the consent and at the direction of a Parent or Teacher or School.

COPPA, FERPA & SOPIPA

We agree to work with each School to jointly ensure compliance with the COPPA, FERPA & SOPIPA regulations. We never sell student data. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 12 unless and until a Parent or a School has authorized us to collect such information. Upon request, we will provide the School or Parent the opportunity to delete the personal information collected from their students.
